K-40 Prices

Post by super8davies »

Does anyone know where would be the cheapest place to buy k-40 carts? I'm based in London, and the cheapest I've come across so far is Jessops at £13:49.

7dayshop.com a little less, £10.15

Good if you purchase in quantity. Not big deal for one or two...

I've got a Kodak order number in my little black book - give them a call on 01442 845945 (hope this applies for Super 8 as well as 16/35).

thanks for those. I bought one fromJessops today, and its gone up to £13:49, which is a shame, as it was the cheapest on the high street.

Ouch. I remember now why I left the UK. That's a lot for a single roll - Kodak will charge me about half of that in Canada. I'd probably pay about £10 at a local "high street" shop.

Of course, we have no high streets here, because they'd interfere with the big-box store parking lots. :?

Mail order seems to be the way to go. It's sad that Jessops have raised their prices as that will discourage buying locally. I fear they will go nationally the way of many independents where I live and stop stocking Super 8 at all.
