Hi,

Beaulieu France tells

Pour faire réparer votre matériel par des spécialistes, vous pouvez vous adresser sur le site : Beaulieu Images Allemagne
http://www.beaulieu.de/start.html

The people at Beaulieu Images Allemagne (which is also known under Wittner Kinotechnik) can understand french (and english) and will respond to french emails in english. I have tried it. My camera is now like a new one. They have all parts available from beaulieu. Also NEW 4008 bodies. I have bought also many of those black leather things and beaulieu labels for my own spare part stock. Possibly I'm silly, but I love to keep my cameras complete....

setori.
Sorry to tell you this,
but there has not been any real Beaulieu service outside Beaulieu factory after that the service shop was closed in Vincennes in Paris about ten years ago.
I started to work at the Beaulieu factory with the service at that time, and did so for some years until the factory staff was ready to handle the service by their own.
I still run the Beaulieu service here in Sweden as I have done since 1974. Therer ain´t so many of the Beaulieu skilled technicians that still is in the business, all over the world.
But if you don´t count for quality, you might find several "talkers" who says they "know how to do it".

Hi,

Bjorn is right,
better to send the camera outside the own country to get a good service.
Too many people are talking and only a few people a knowing!
I can recommend Beaulieu Images Allemagne with my own experiences.
They have all parts and the knowledge. Beaulieu Sweden I don't know. But possibly I will check them out when I need service again.
Beaulieu Allemagne upgraded my 7008 S to 7008 PRO and I am completely happy with this like-new camera. Also the 708 EL service was done great. They have changed the claw and some other parts and now the steadiness of the picture is superb like it should be for years before (I bought the projector new at FNAC).
Don't be afraid to send equipment abroad. Only pack well!
