Yeah, I agree about Bonum. I really like their reels especially. I wish
I could find them for sale here in the states. Does anyone know if they
are still being made?

Bonum

Post by Angus »

I used to buy a lot of my stuff mail order from "Bristol Cine Sales" and they stopped listing Bonum reels and the Climatic capsules in the mid 90's as "discontinued".

However...the Widescreen Centre sometimes still has them (and the capsules) but I think this is old stock.

If you buy Hama brand reels they are almost identical to the Bonum ones....only they don't say "Bonum" on them and don't come with the capsules but it is the same design and "Made In Austria".

You can get the Hama reels, in the UK anyway, from 7dayshop.com and I would assume from any photo dealer stocking Hama accessories.
