Have you shot any 16mm Fomapan? I was wondering how it would compare.

I just looked at some B&W 16mm that was shot in about 1950, and I have never seen such good looking B&W. I wish I could find some film to shoot that looks like that.

When I got my R8 stock I ordered 2 16mm Fomapan from John Schwind. It's just waiting for my Switars to arrive so I can play with it in my (your) filmo. ;)

Is the color quarzchrome process E-6?

I used a kit by ORWO, I don't know if it is E-6 or something else :?:

(by caming out nice I meant it looked like a 30's or 40's footage, high contrast and coool saturation, with grain)

I have shot Fomapan in reg 8mm and briefly once on 16mm.

I find it beautiful and wish it were available in super 8
