I visited a thrift shop yesterday that I'd never been to before. They had a lot of 8mm equipment (8mm equipment is hard to find around where I live; you either look long and hard or fall back on eBay.) The shop had mostly cheapo "pull-and-shoot" cams and ancient projectors that looked as if they had developed an appetite for celluloid--nothing too eyebrow-raising there. The best find, though, were four carts of Sound K40 film in their original packaging! I bought them for a $1 each--take THAT MacJava!
They're dated October, 1982 and I doubt they've been refrigerated. I don't know if they're any good but at least Dwayne's can process them cheaply. They'll be joining two Ektachrome 160 sound carts in the freezer.
No, I'm not interested in selling them. Sorry!
Tom
