Chinon repair

Post by booper »

Does anyone know of a reputable place/person who repairs Chinon (806 SM) cameras? Anyone ever heard of Gary Meshko in NJ? How about anyone in Chicago?

Thanks

This is not an answer to the original poster's question, but this post brings up a good reminder.

Often fixing a super 8 camera involves having spare parts. So if you see a super 8 camera similar to your beloved favorite for cheap, pick it up and keep it around as a donor camera if repairs ever should require some parts.

Thanks for the information all. I tried calling tonight (David), but missed you.

I wonder how long the part supplies will last....
