Bauer s207xl
Hello!
What a great site this is...I have a feeling Im going to be registering very soon. As Im planning a project.
First though, one of the cameras I plan on using happens to be a Bauer s 207 xl. I just got it and I really like it. Unfortunately, it didnt come with any accesories or a manual.
I think it shared a manual with the 209?
I dunno. Im looking actually to find the filter size for this camera.
But manuals are also cool to have, can any one can direct me where to find one?
Anyways, I have a lot to read on this forum. This site is great!
Thanks in advance!

Have a look at my site - some of the cameras will have the same features as yours - you should be able to figure it all out once you start seeing the common traits. I remember way back trying to figure out what on earth a shutter speed as measured in degrees was? That took some time for brain to get around. Ahh, the good ol days.

THe Bauer s207xl Manual?
Oh hello!
I just registered. Yes, Ive seen your site before, very useful too!
So I was messing with the camera again and I think Im going to like it.
Does anyone have a manual for this camera (or the 208)?
Really would be nice.
I also noticed I dont have an eye cup, but thats no problem Ive got plenty of those around. But there are also a lot extraspots to attach things onto, I can guess what they are for, but again the manual would be great.
-Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: THe Bauer s207xl Manual?
I have the manual for the Bauer S207XL. I'll try to scan it and post it here. I am just TOO lazy.
The lens filter size is 55mm. A standard size. This is an excellent camera that you are going to like. The camera has three sockets: Mic, Remote, and Flash. To use Remote make sure to switch the remote switch to ON. To operate manually make sure to open little door on top of camera and rotate the aperture knob. In order to use the Macro facility that allows you to seamlessly switch from Macro to normal, you definitely need the manual
Since you are a good fellow on your way to be a loyal Bauer user, I'll force myself into scanning the manual
Which reminds me now - I do need to get a Bauer S209XL

Beggers cant be chooser but How is this going Lunar?
Incidently The entire manual is not needed. Im sure you know which pages are important.
I do appreciate it!
And sorry if I seem restless.
Thanks Again!

Re: manual?
Sorry for the delay. I am half way through it. You should have it early this week.

Scanning the whole manual can take hours and hours. I scanned the following:DzFX wrote:Beggers cant be chooser but How is this going Lunar?

How to set aperture manually:

How to set the Macro and how to do Macro dissolves:

Make sure you view pictures in their 100% size. They are very clear and readable.
This is a great camera that you have. Later in the future you may want to get the Bauer A512 which can do Time Exposures in addition to interval frame exposure.
If you have any questions let me know.
Thanks!
THANK YOU!
Yes I can see how it is a time consuming task. Thanks for this though I really appreciate it!
