I'm going to be in Portland from 12/24 to 1/3...if anyone wants to hang out, drink beer, shoot some film, view some footage...drop me a line!

Well, let's see, now we need Stoney, and more of the Portland group. I know we have a few others in town? I think a evening of pizza or someting would be good. I am up for anything.

Maybe screen each other's S8? Drink, smoke, film?

Also any of you guys going to the Portland Underground Film Fest in a couple of weeks? It looks like a lot of weird, twisted stuff being shown... My S8 short got rejected but my wife's dV short will premiere...

What about meeting at the coffee shop in Powells, say, 10:00 or 11:AM? Another choice would be the McMinnimins Kennedy School at 5736 NE 33rd Ave (good breakfast). If we meet at the Kennedy School, we won't have to deal with trying to find a place to park.

If we meet late morning we might get lucky and find some sunshine so we can shoot some film. Or maybe we can meet later on in the day and just hang and talk...

I am open to suggestions... My time is mostly flexible.

I might have a old 16mm Auricon optical sound camera by then. I could use some adice from a guy like yourself who is a real cinematographer. I have ordered some Fomapan & some K-40 to test with. Yes, I know the sound is *awful* at best- this is just a trip into camera history for me. Can I bribe you with some brews? I was going to see if it worked on T-Scan and the other lads.
