This is my new setup - an slr Sigma 8mm fisheye Nikon mount lens with an H-8:

And with the B8 :D

This is vanity at its best. I am going to get a 72mm-49mm step down adapter and attach my ISCO 1.75X anamorphot to this setup.

And where, pray, did you find a D mount to Nikon adaptor?

Looks fab Lunar.

Just add some to the (in)sanity: Quarz with the PANA 1.5-2x ANAM

Very very nice. Is this a variable anamorphic lens?

Is that the Bolex "BAGOM" adapter for c/d mounts? If so where did you get it? I heard that those things are hard to come by!

Yes that is the one. You have to keep a close watch on eBay and ask questions. The one I have was a part of a collection of Bolex 8mm accessories and the adapter was one of them. I'd like to get two more of these.
One month ago, there was another one on eBay - it was screwed into a Taylor Hobson C-mount Serital lens. Downix, of this forum, showed a past interest in this adpater. So like a fool I sent him a message to go for it. The guy never acknowledged my message and never bought the adapter. Big guy Downix - geeeeeeeeeeez
They are apt to appear sooner or later on eBay hidden in a heap of junk.
But let me tell you - a Sigma slr 8mm lens on a B8 LOOOOOOOOOL it looks so funny - a sort of a monstrosity - like an insect with a huge eye. And the fact that you can buy a truckload of B8's for one Sigma 8mm.

I'd have LOVED to get the SLR Nikon 8mm lens - but hey, I need to pay my rent for the next 4-5 months

Seriously now, I'm focusing on getting an SLR 15-35 zoom if they exist and attach a 1.5X anamorphot to it. Now that could be PERFEEEECT for a Bolex 8mm camera.

DOH! And there your message is!

Actually, I don't really need a D-mount adaptor after my Bolex was ruined in Hurricane Francis. I did get an M42 to C mount adaptor off of ebay for my 16mm's now tho.

Well, you could have told me at least that you did not need it. I was super nice to have told you about it. It is not like there is a tree with these adaptors growing on it. I mean, these adaptors appear once in a blue moon. And that one is gone now.

Nice set up S8 Booster but you'll get a wider Anamorphic view if you put the Quarz zoom lens back on and fit a Kowa 2x Anamorphic for Bell & Howell zooming to about 17mm.

If size matters (and girls say it does) then put yourself back to the 1930s and impress the ladies by whipping out your 9.5mm Kok (Pathe Kok that is).
8O :D
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a C or D mount adaptor for the Vivitar Q-Dos 3D 70-210 zoom lens with Ricoh KR-10m fitting. I fancy filming red/blue 3D and would love to get it fitted to my Quarz.

Since you're shooting through the centre part (and sharpest part) of the lens, I'm really wondering how much distortion you're going to get with a fish-eye lens like that? I guess I could find an image taken in 35mm still with this 8mm lens and crop it in photoshop to find out, but I don't know if I'll find one on the net. Have you done any tests?

I wish you luck on a very cool set-up.
