Nikon lens on film cameras?

Post by Neatpuppy »

Hello, I have a quick question, this may be asking the obvious but are there general warnings against using Nikon (or just 35mm still) lenses on film cameras? I read up the archives and I understand that 35mm lenses become telephotos on 8mm cams. (Hence, generally not advisable.) However, I seem to remember a past thesis I helped on last year and they mated a Nikon 80-200mm (I think..) with eyemo? Booklists on this topic will be helpful also, thanks! :)

Yes, thanks! :) But I was wondering also about its usage in larger formats as well. For instance, I just spotted this on Ebay:

and this one for $1500+

Totally out of the budget for starving students I think  But definitely worth investigating if you already have a collection of Nikon lenses to work with..
