fades

according to the super 8 list, (http://www.kolumbus.fi/puistot/) 2 of my cameras should have the option to fade. either the list is wrong or I can't find a way to use the fade option. the cameras are...Minolta XL 400 and
Canon 518 SV. Any input on this?
Also does anyone know what the SV stands for or means on my Canon?

When fade is wrote on the kolumbus's list, it means that you should be able to do a fade, not that there's a automatic fade feature. You may have on your camera a variable shutter or a variable diaphragme button that may allow you to do a fade.
SV shurely mean servo-motor.

:idea: Both might have a "variable diaphragme button".
The Minolta (correct number?) could feature an automatic fade option.

Wahiba does your slow speed connection also affect your view/reply-quoting hobby? I am seeing now 4 competent replies.

Actually the views from the time around May 1st. isn't correct. A web robot went mental and pushed the views up through the roof. Correct numbers can be seen on later posts.
