Somewhat OT: NFL Films
Seeing as how all of us here have an interest in filmmaking, who else here, when watching NFL football, is on the lookout for NFL films cameras during the games?
It looks like the cameras of choice for the sidelines are usually Aaton XTRs and Arri SRs, and during the Super Bowl last year I could have sworn that I saw a handheld Arri 435. I guess they spluge on some 35mm for the big game!

Yes, I recall being confused seeing NFL films presentations from the late 1980s with dust specks and grain. I thought that they had held out shooting S8 until the '90s or something. It is very cool that they are still shooting on film. I wish they'd still sell their games in 16mm though. . .

Most years, I'm fortunate enough to attend one or two Green Bay games at Lambeau Field. Each time, I always make it a point to seek out the NFL Films crews. Usually, I see two, though at a playoff game a couple years ago there were five; I saw them midfield in a pregame huddle of sorts. All Arri 16SRs and Aatons, I believe.

Does NFL films ever bother sending crews to the Browns games? Lol. They're so bad that I who owns not a single non-film camera would not contribute any film 16mm, or even 8mm, to recording their losses. If and when the Browns get good or I can get a cheap cheap ticket, I'll have to watch for them.
