k40? anything within a few feet of a direct light source will look great, and all else will be more or less black. a nice "mystery night look" imho, if that's what you're after...hoe wrote:just wondering if anyone has shot much footage indoors without special lighting, i've recently shot a good bit of indoors stuff just by adjusting the aperature and am wondering what kind of results to expect....

K40 and 200T, the camera's light meter suggested there was enough light so I took a chance, hoping not to get 4 rolls of black back! But I think the 200T is supposed to be ok in low light... some of the stuff was 'scenic' house stuff, maybe it won't come out so well then as the footage with objects (ie people!) where it's a smaller area... fingers crossed! thanks for reply.

CineChorma 125 pushed one stop 12fps wide open in a H8RX, but the room had lots of light, normal room lamps and a overhead. Lamps were upgraded to 3 way sockets and 3 way bulbs, all of them. Two had 300 w bulbs. Overhead had 5 x 60w bulbs. Everything looks bright. Grainy but bright.
Plus-X in a 16mm 50 foot magazine load Bell & HOwell in a church looked murky but worked in brighter places just fine. Smooth.
