My brother in law showed me a program called Mirc. It allowed him to download movies for free. It is sort of like Napster? I never saw anything like it before or even heard of anything like it.
Is anyone here into this stuff?
It looks like a film maker could, if he/she knew how, serve their own movies up to the world direct from the home computer. No MB transfer fees would be charged from a web site limit.
It looks like half the world is doing it.

Mirc has nothing to do with Napster. Mirc is a program that can be used for IRC which means Internet Relay Chat. IRC is simply a way of type-chatting with Internet users from all over the world. Check this URL for more info:

And yes! IRC has been going through some sort of a revolution the past couple of years now allowing fileservers other fancy stuff. You can download Mirc (Windows IRC client) from here:
