those halogen lamps, are they easy to come by? i know 6v 10watt standard lamps for editors are hard to find here. i managed to get hold of 4 of them the other day through someone i know who knows someone in sydney, cost me 30 dollars, damn!

Since I work as an electrician, I'm pretty positiv I'll find a bulb that will fit or maybe I can rebuild some of it. Maybe change the power supply if neccesery.

6volt/20watt halogen lamps wouldn't burn film now would they?

6 V / 20 W halogen lamps can ONLY be used in a HKS- viewer/ last series ( big transformator ) , it will not burn the film !

Osram has 6volt Halogen in its assortment. 10 and 20 Watt

Henry, 20W bulbs can also be used also with Erno EM-1801. Dunno know if they need to have their transformator modified however. Kinotechnik Rinser has one in their Web page at 95 Euros.
