New Indie Film Tech Tip: Lighting Units

Post by Scott Spears »

I just posted my newest Indie Film Tech Tip. This new installment is called Lighting Units and lays out the basics of lights you may be using. It's an overview and doesn't cover every light out there, but talks about open face lights, fresnals, power useage, etc... It runs just under 4 min. and is in Windows Media format.

Go to the Filmmaking Page to see it.

While you're there you can check the other tips:
Gels & Diffusion
China Lanterns
Grip Kit Goodies

These are just little things I put together when I'm bored. I think their helpful for beginners.

Yes, I do own a Super-8 Camera. A Bauer S105-XL. I apologize for not putting it on my website. I'll have to fix that on my site.

I'm a big fan of Super-8. I shot some on the last feature I shot and a commerical a few years back on Super-8 Neg.
