When i recieved it, the camera had ni-cad batteries included that took a charge, but only ran the camera about half the time i turned it on. when it did run, it ran great, and when it didnt, well it made some odd whines and wrrrs (which had something to do with the lap dissolve setting, i finally figured out, just needed to be reset  although it did re-occur after i figured this out?)
So, I bought fresh batteries, charged them up and....nothing! The camera will not turn on. The batteries are charged though, as they work in my other gadgets?
Is the camera just dead? Is there any other way I can test it?
Im considering selling it with the case and full kit explaining the issues on ebay/privately/trade if its not worth the fix, if needed, I know can be expensive.
