Konton wrote:Yes, it only comes in 24 and 200 ASA. But the thing is the carts are easy to reload, so some people load the carts and sell them with other stock. I think there is a Japanese website that sells B&W.

Fujica Single-8 cameras are the only cameras that use single-8 carts.

I'm selling some equipment:

From the reply of that other thread, it sounds like you've sold it. If that's not the case, what's your price on the Fujica 1000? I'm in the US, too.

Wow, great material here. I'm saving most of the replies. Thanks!

I'm really glad Canon made a Single-8 camera. Now I gotta get me one! Are they popular on eBay?

Anyone got a frame grab or a clip from this type of film?

This clip is a little dizzying, but it's in focus and it does accurately show how well the colors look on R25N. Yemi shot it in anamorphic too, which is quite interesting. Although theoretically, there could be some loss in clarity due to the extra element. So you might be able to say that it could "look better" in 4:3, ignoring the aesthetic pleasure of 16:9.

R25N is grainier than K25/40, but not much. And the colors feel much more contemporary and maybe a little more saturated, especially in the greens (which almost goes without saying with Fuji.)

I haven't transferred much, but I'll look through what I have to see if there's anything presentable that might demonstrate the two stocks. I've kinda been holding off thinking I'm going to get one of these Snipers.

The exact opposite! They are almost impossible to find...(In europe). Maybe things are different in US Ebay...I 'd love to have one, but when I found a 518sv, the price was... you know!

That was a great clip. The colors are nice as you stated, it shouts Fuji's work. I didn't see the infamous frame jump, but I do see breathing. Must be the base. Thanks for providing me the clip. 8)

Do you know if the P2 has viewer switch on it to close the viewer so that you can not see anything through the reflex viewer?

No. There is no "viewer switch", if you mean the type that closes the viewfinder to avoid light entering while an eye is not there. You look through the viewfinder and can see through the lens whether there is film in the camera or not.

Thanks. There is a P2 on eBay and the seller is saying that he can see NOTHING through the view finder. I wanted to be sure. You answer helps.
