Projector Bulbs- Where to Buy?

Post by FourFourForty »

Does anyone know of a supplier for projector bulbs with reasonable pricing- preferably in the US? I'm being quoted prices that are almost half of what I paid for the projector. That alone practically justifies purchasing a WP.

Thanks in advance.

ebay all the way.

When I got a Bell & Howell 16mm projector I needed a few lamps and was quoted $22 ea. or more by all the online stores. Got 8 of them on ebay for $12 shipped. Also got 3 recently for a Bolex 8mm for only $10.

You may have to hunt awhile but the deals are there for the taking.

I found good prices on the more common lamps here. I even found a bulb for my vintage Bell & Howell Filmo 16mm editor viewer.

I have had good luck with The BulbMan:

Or call them at 1-800-648-1163

They are in Seattle.

I've been very happy with topbulb and bulbman; I 've found that on some items, bulbman has the best price.

I'd be very leery about buying bulbs on e-bay, unless it was from a very reliable source.
