Snow? What's that? The closest thing to snowboarding in Houston is "S'no boarding cause there s'no snow"

Have a merry one. Ho-ho-ho, I mean yo, yo, yo, boyeeee.

And a Happy New Year to you also Matt! And next time you're in the US, stop by and I can take you skiing at Taos. The most beautiful powdery snow you've ever seen! Only thing is you'll have trade in that snowboard for a couple of planks. No snowboarding allowed on Taos Ski Mountain!! :o

Merry X-mas and happy 8 mm shooting, projecting and WP-transfering new year from my side too.

I just tested my new Canon 1014 XL-S yesterday shooting couple time lapse parts (moon and sun, we had our shortest day of the year yesterday), I just love this camera!

We have here now -14°C with very strong wind, hrrrrrrr ...
Best Regards

Anybody else seen some raindeers snooping around tonight?

This one, not actually a raindeer but a Norwegian type of wild deer snoped around in my garden tonight:
Image

Due to the long lasting cold weather they come out of the forrests and mountains to search for food near houses.

Yah, yeah, yah,
I know there is a few things 8mm film do not do as good as video.

Forgot: This image is actually in a "compressed" anamorph format. (4:3) Should have been extracted tp 16:9.

Merry Christmas

Post by David M. Leugers »

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We all have a lot to be thankful for, especially this website where we all can share info and learn from one another. I'm going to shoot some real movie film tomorrow of my family like always. It is the best gift I can ever receive. My wife has been going through some empty nest syndrome with our youngest away in college. Her only wish for Christmas was for me to show her the films I shot over the years of her boys growing up. It is a yearly trip in my time machine thanks to Kodachrome and Plus-X and other Kodak, Orwo, and Fomopan magic carpets. It is the reason I will never give up shooting reversal film stocks. My heart wouldn't let me. God bless everyone!
