Where to Lube Up? (no pun intended)

Post by Cutty201 »

:D
i jsut started shooting some test footage on my Canon Autozoom 814 Electronic that I picked up on eBay. I just started reading about getting the camera all lubed up. After I finish this Cart where an I bring it to get lubed up and serviced? Should I jsut start calling the local camera shops or what?

As a side note. Could you not lube the camera yourself, without having to take it apart or do you need to send it to service?

I was very temptet today as I saw a very cheap 814az and 514az, but hesitated to buy since the servicing would bring the price right up.

(Sorry to invade on your thread like this Cutty, but I just figured that if it was easily done yourself, you'd be better of).
