Only good for Ektachrome and Kodachrome, but $5.59 pre-paid developing mailers is pretty damn cheap. (reg. price $10)

Some WAL-MART stores in the U.S. still develop it as well, but they are more expensive and not every store does it.

Turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks (I usually get them in 3, sometimes 4) and they do live up to their reputation about cutting off the heads & tails of your footage too much. I lose about 2 feet of film on each end.

Maybe this is not a hot tip, but I thought I'd mention it anyway...

5.99 is a great price for devloping, take it kodak doesnt lose your film along the way. I ordered 5 at one point and was charged $7.00 for them to ship it, which actaully cost them 80 cents!

I have used this many many times. The work is impeccable with one notable exception - the heads & tails get a little extra trimming. FRom ancient days of olde, Kodak stil feels it is amaturish to allow the flares at teh head & tail form the exposed film to be seen by the public, so they clip the first few feet & the last few feet of film.

Once I send in the pre-paid mailer, I hav enever been charged for additional shipping though....

Did you mean B&H ? They cahrged $7 shipping for the 10 pack.
