Hi I have a Fujica Regular 8 magnetic sound projector from the 60's and I'm wondering it's value. Can anyone help? Thanks. Dave

Michael, I'm not sure because I don't have any film to try. I do know that it lights up and runs nice. Thanks for the reply, sorry I took so long.

I mean does it have the knobs and switches to do so? Or is it only a player?

Film collector sellers hold sound striped Regular 8mm films that could be tried. They also sometimes offer leader that is striped.

I also have a R8 recording / playing device, for the Sears projector, and I do not know if it actually works. It was broken in shipment and I never tried to glue the metal arm back together. The amp is an unknown. However, there are tube radio repair shops that could fix it. Guitar players collect analog tube amps all the time. This is no different. I had other tube amps for tape recorders fixed, no problem.

Yes, it has been a while. Welcome back.

I would check on the value through the UK and film collector dealers. Mags in UK sometimes advert sound R8 projectors.

Good work getting it.

Hi,
Yes it does record as well. I'll try to find a tape to see if it works properly. Thanks for the link.
