This is the screening I put together that has films directed or photographed by Mattias, Andreas and Steve (Teadub)... and 13 other filmmakers...and the L.A. Times gave it a little mention in today's paper, under the slightly misleading "animation" moniker...but any mention is cool, nonetheless. If you are in the LA area, come early and check it out!
Film descriptions and filmmaker bios are now online:

Int'l Underground screening in L.A. this Saturday
Moderator: Andreas Wideroe
I went to the screenings today and since no one seems to have posted a review yet. Here's my audience's list of awards:
BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY & EDITING:
"Rendezvous" (4:00, 16mm)
- Per Sveinung Larsen
(A very very creative dance! My girlfriend can't stop asking about the tech. elements after the film ended.)
BEST DRAMA:
"Last One in is a Rotten Egg" (2003, 4:10, Super-8mm)
- Mattias Sandstrom
(For cheese & 80's/Euro porn camp.
People were laughing throughout the screening..)
BEST DOCUMENTARY:
"Remains: A Preliminary Investigation" (2004, 11:00, Digital Video)
- Laura Daroca
(Honary mention to the filmmaker's pure stubborness & simplicity in form. I appreciate the raw honesty & the Vanalyn Green style humor/sincerity.)
The rest..? Well... It's the rest.

thanks for the praise (porn camp?!?). on some screenings people realize that they are allowed or even supposed to laugh and sometimes they take it way too seriously. :-)
i haven't talked to the film's dp jens who happens to live in echo park and who i assume was there yet, so i haven't heard anything else. any other attendants?

I usually don't post on weekends so I'm just seeing this now. The screening went very well. The house was packed. I didn't meet your DP -- he didn't introduce himself (and what about you, Neatpuppy?) so I'm not sure if he showed. I did send him a postcard. Yeah, the audience seemed to like most of the films, "Rendezvous" definitely being the one people admired most, technique style, but they seemed to love "Last One in..."
Pretty quiet crowd for the most part but even though it was hotter than hell inside very few left at intermission...
