Was just reading through info on canon eos camera and they talk about ultrasonic motors and "near silent operation" - a quick load up in google gives more info on them being used for camera motors

- wow is this the thing for silent running of my super8!
I'm sure other people have spotted the possibilities here. Anyone?

how quiet are your cameras? could you interview someone for instance and not be distracted by the camera(noise)
