I go along with the other post that said to call Kodak for the best prices. I would buy some K-40 from Kodak *with out processing* and then you can drop it off at Walmart (for a good price) if you like.
Here is the toll free number to call to have Kodak mail you some film. I believe the price break is at 5 rolls, so if you can afford it, buy five rolls to start. It will save you a lttle money:

I believe Walmart uses Dwayne's Photo, and Dwayne's does not process Ektachrome VNF 7240. So if you buy some Ekt, you need to send it to Kodak (buy some PK59 mailers) or someplace else for processing.
The best prices I have found for PK59 mailers is B&H Photo. They cost $5.79 each plus some postage. I buy them in packs of 10:

If you buy your film in lots of 5 each or larger from Kodak, and then use Walmart or the PK59 mailer, you can cut down on your cost.
I love Dwayne's Photo. The quick turn around is wonderfull. And they will splice several rolls of film onto one reel at no extra charge. This is so much better than having Kodak mail you back 8, three inch rolls of film. Dwayne's cost is (I think) 12.00 per roll of K-40.
Can someone post the price of Walmart processing? Is it $4.99 or someting?
