Read my science fiction novel The Forest of Life at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D38AV4K
Terrific! I look forward to looking at some actual examples. Particularly the V2 200, as we've seen a little bit of the V2 500t already. A lot of talk, a lot of speculation, a bunch of charts, let's see some frames!T-Scan wrote:Thats the same article from Jack's link. i'm sending five 500T and three 200T out friday for process, prep, and telecine. will have some still frames up when its back.

Where are you getting it telecined? Sounds like pretty much a one stop shop -- is this at Flying Spot and co. in Seattle? They sure seem top notch, if not exactly cheap.
Forde processes the color neg for $12 per cart (cheaper than the VNF) and prep charges. Flying Spot lists $300 per hour (16 carts per hour)) for telecine, minimum half hour. i also can't wait to try and transfer the negetives again myself with the WP after its all done. i'm hoping the FS will set a good example for me to aim at.
