Hey everyone,
Just read the new news article on the home page of 8mm.filmshooting.com about Kodaks decision to stop making Ektachrome motion film, including the 7240 VNF super 8 stock. Does anyone know if this also means they are going to stop making Ektachrome 35mm stills film like EBX, Elitechrome and the E100VS/G/GX range? I hope this is not the case because this range of Kodak slide films are fantastic, especially the EliteChrome Extra Color film.
Also, is there going to be a replacement for 7240? It'd be a shame if we Super8 shooters were left with only one colour reversal stock (K40) because it would take away the option for people to shoot colour reversal in lower light.
Ektachrome discontinuance - Implications for 35mm stills?
