I sent two K40 rolls in mailers off to fair lawn. Two weeks later I get one back with a letter that it's messed up. Almost every frame is scratched. They promise me a fresh roll of K40 and two free prepaid mailers. I finally got my second roll back, apparently no problems, but I haven't seen it so I'm not sure. Then today I get the compensation package. It's an expired roll of K40 (3/04) and two stickers that will allow me free processing for two rolls of still film if I take it to one of their in store processing places or something like that. Is this company totally clueless? I was hoping, because of so many people's non-negative responses to the pre-paid mailer system, that it would end up ok. guess not.
