In My Image feedback
Hey anyone got any feed back?? I'm getting very very little and there's almost 30 discs out there now - any thoughts would be appreciated - good, bad or indifferent -- I've got a pretty good idea of what it's strengths and weaknesses are but I'm always open to learn more

Okay okay I'll see what I can do!
I've got the whole film on my hard drive as one avi file now and I could probabaly run that through something easily enough - the dual audio streams and extra features will be something else though - I'll see what I can do

Grab some VCD-creation software, then you can make disks using a standard CD-RW drive. And most DVD players can plat VCD's as well.Scotness wrote:Okay okay I'll see what I can do!

I watched it, but my viewing was broken into three sessions so I don't want to write a full review.
I enjoyed the story, and I did engage with most of the characters, especially Scot's. I felt the first 30 minutes or so might have been more pacey but otherwise script-wise I only have minor niggles.
Obviously the camera jitter is an unfortunate intruder at times, but generally the pictures are excellent - I played a 5 minute section to some unsuspecting friends who thought it was a professional TV movie.
I found myself knowing that the chap *was* going to be found guilty, but wanting him to be acquitted...and the second half of the film was fascinating with Scot's character examining the beliefs of those around him and also his own...I always like a film that makes you think.

Thanks for that Angus - yes I knowing he was going to be found guilty was kind of unavoidable and intentional - so that's it's more about how he's treated and the beliefs around it all
Cheezy - yes I have been working on a short or trailer for it - it should be up this week (if I get my finger out!)
I tried last night to encode an ntsc version using ulead moviemaker - so it's all pretty well automated - using 4000kbs cbr it came to 5.1g asfter 10 hours and it's only a 1 and a half hour movie ! I'll try again tonight at 3000 -- must be the extra frame rate at ntsc -- it does it at 29.97 -- can't set it to 23 whatever it is
more soon
