It is not a very well known model by Nizo

Maybe it is worth something for a collector. :)

The lens is mounted in two separate parts.

The front lens is mounted to front of the chassis which is covered by a plate. You also would have to take off the side plates as it is bolted from the inside. And you have to reach in from the sides.

The second inner lens is worked very much in the chassis and there you have to find your own way.

Also: :!:
I think it is almost impossible to do anything else with the lens except for mounting it on another x056. Or even mount another lens onto the camera. As somebody once thought here (on the forum)
Kind regards,

Andre,

Yes the X may confuse some, I mean 2056, 4056 or 6056

my wish to replace broken lens from 4056 with good one from a 2056 with broken transport

on daylight/indoors switch panel side after removal I see two screws painted red

are these the only screws to remove outer lens - or do I have to remove other panel and circuit board to access any more screws?

Thanks

four

Post by aj »

I expect four. It cannot be just two.

My only experience is with 801 and Professional type. These had four. I have a spare 1.2 lens for some modern (1.2 integral?) Nizo which also has four.

Just take off the panel. It cannot be too difficult. Do not let the knobs scare you. The all are fixed to the panel and will interlock with the receivers using pins. If they are red (locking paint) they are the ones.

Still, no garantee on these tips.
Kind regards,

André
