eye piece on Nizo 560

Post by Big Jay »

I recently purchased a Nizo 560. I have shot a few rolls which I am very pleased with. One problem: the eyepiece is loose and rotates out of position. When I turn it manually, I can feel a catch that seems to be designed to prevent this movement. Are there any suggestions on how I might tighten this connection? Has anyone had similar problems with Nizo?

Thanks.

Maybe! However, I have no idea what the word is in English, but I'm going to try anyway: :D

A hose squeezer?

It looks something like this:

=O

My Beaulieu has got a thing that looks very much like this on the viewfinder.

I would fear a quick loss of Andreas' squeezer and recommend to simply tape the loose eyepiece until it never ever moves ...

If that's what it's called, yes! They are often used to keep hoses connected to the engine in Ie. a car.
