In case you didn't view the Elmo manual request post, I am taking this camera, the Elmo Super Filmatic 110, to film a Nascar race. I figure it will travel better than the Canon 814XLS.
Needless to say, this is an AWESOME camera. Here are two pictures and my new method to protect my images.

Yeah, I also plan to curve the colors from one color into another color so you cannot just do a color replacement. I may also sink the text into a shadow-like look. Not bad for $10. Thanks for not over bidding me.

I have the Super 104 your cameras little brother. It has the biggest brightest finder I have ever seen on a super-8 camera. I almost bid on your camera but I was broke after buying my 17-year-old son a car this week 8O It's a simple camera but has 18, 24fps and manual exposure. What more could you want? Congratulations on the camera. If a super-110R shows up on eBay the bidding war is on!

Don't worry about equipment so much and make your movie!
No worries, I won't outbid anyone on ebay if I know who it is - There are only a few super 8 items left and even at that I am not sure if I really need anything more (notice the word "NEED"). I am just happy the 110 I got does not need those pesky 1.35volters. Phew.
Cheers,
Michael

Yeah same camera as my favourite super 8 cam, just mine doesn't say "filmatic" anywhere...gorgeous piece of kit. I'm taking one to the British Formula 1 Grand Prix this year
I have the manual if you need a copy.
And yes, it travels very well. Mine has flown transatlantic twice and around Europe. The carry case protects it well and holds two films.
Congratulations! I was within a hair's breadth of bidding on this one (I promised my wife I wouldn't get ANOTHER camera until after tax time, she'd kill me if another one showed up in the mail) what a deal, $10. I wanted it as a backup for my Super104, which is THE most reliable camera I own. The reason I need a backup, actually, is because my NIZO S80 gave out on me while shooting last weekend, aarggh! So, I'm back to my Elmo, the only camera I have that I can rely upon %100 of the time (knock on wood).
If anyone got it, I'm glad it was you, now at least we get to read the reviews! I'm sure you won't be dissappointed.
