Does anyone know where I can find adapters to use 16mm rewinds with super8 film/reels, has anyone used these?

Try to find a store, (some photo stores or online source) that carries "Gepe" 8mm reels new in the plastic case. They still make them. About $4 I believe for a 400ft reel in a plastic case. The reels are durable and they come with a plastic adapter for 16mm reels. The adapters break after heavy use but they beat paying $32 for custom brass ones. Here's the link I think for the $32 custom ones. Mind you this is $32 a piece!
I dont see a link....... $32 is a bit expensive, I dont actually have 16mm rewinds, but since I havent seen much in the way of good super8 rewinds I was hoping that I could get a good pair of 16mm ones (since I will have a use for them in the near future anyways) and use them for both. I guess I still could with the plastic ones if I can find them, are they super8 or regular 8? I guess I can always try and find a viewer with decent rewinds to canabilize....supa_ate_sixteen wrote:Here's the link I think for the $32 custom ones. Mind you this is $32 a piece!

If you contact CHCinema@aol.com,they have the very thing you need. However, they are UK based. These are new manufactured items and are very cheap.
