Eumig S810D bulb socket
You know the little socket that holds the bulb in an Eumig S810D projector? The top of mine continually breaks off. I glue it back on, it holds for a couple months, then it's off again (I'm guessing superglue wasn't designed for high temperatures). It's getting tiring, so I've been looking for a replacement socket. The only near match I could find was this one here at Don's Bulbs: http://www.donsbulbs.com/cgi-bin/r/b.pl ... qcx5s.html. From looking at other items there, they seem to mark up their prices a considerable amount. Does anyone know of anywhere that sells this socket or another socket that an EXV bulb fits for less than $38?

Just look for a socket which is used for 12 volt halogen home illumination. You get this socket at every DIY store. Price for a socket made of ceramic (is better than plastics) with attached high temperature cabeling is maximum EUR 3.-- (which is the same in US$). You do not get the original socket, Eumig company does not exist anymore. If you do not find in the US, send me an email with your address, I will send you the suitable socket.
