I have a beaulieu 4008 zm II and use an external 85 filter for daylight balance. I have been leaving the asa at 40 since using an external filter. Kodak however says daylight for K40 = 25asa because of 2/3 stop loss using 85 filter. Im confused. I thought I only need to adjust asa to 25 when using an internal filter.
Would someone please fill me in.

Two solutions :
1) You are using the internal exposure meter of the 4008 : you have to set up to 40asa ( once the filter is screwed in ) because it's TTL metering
2) You are using a handheld ewposure meter : you have to set up to 25asa ( because non TTL ). It would be the same as 1) if you would have put the filter in front of your handheld exposure meter.
Ok ?
