Another Question about Scheider 6-70mm Lens

Post by Guest »

After looking at a few pictures of Beaulieu cameras with the Schneider 6-70mm lens, I noticed that some of the Scheider 6-70mm lenses (if not all of them), have two or three little "pegs" (I can't tell if they're metal or plastic) that appear to be close to either the zoom or aperture ring. Could anyone explain what these are and what they're used for?

Thanks!

Oops...sorry for spelling "Schneider" without the "n" a couple of times in my last post :)

On the 1,4 6/70 lens there is two small knobs for the zoom ring. One for stopping you at 6mm and the other stops from zooming longer that 40mm. If you use the camera without tripod, it will be to shaky if longer.
