Do they still make 8mm film editors/splicers? I am very new to the film format.

I mainly use digital but wanted to find out about film making as it used to be done. Going back to the beginning to learn and all.

I just purchased a Kinoflex and wanted to get an editor/splicer as well. I need to know the brands to look for, what features are key. Things like that. Do they even make these editors anymore.

I'm sure I can learn a lot from you guys, so sound off for me! :D

I'm not sure if "new" editor/viewers are made but you can find plenty of working old ones for sale at e-bay. Do a search.
Anything made by Goko, Minette, Elmo would work.
good luck
