Paul's machine :)?
Moderator: Andreas Wideroe
I really want to offer perforating service. I will be moving in the next six months to my permanent residence in Houston. In the mean time I will sell reperforated short ends on eBay. Any 35mm stock can be re perforated so the question becomes what do YOU want to see done first. I don't want a huge stock that I have to keep track of, so I will most likely work on a per order basis. I am shooting for 12 cents a foot for perforating with a 100' minimum, so that is $12.00 plus any tax and shipping due. I will have to charge for the spools since they will cost me money and my profit is small (non existent until I pay off the machine).

I would opt for getting Plus-X Trix-X reversal (Is there any on 35mm?) in lengths of 200feet. Possibly splitted into S8. I have a number of 200ft daylight S8 reels and fitting cans which I can mail in before ordering. But maybe you want one type of reel to keep matters simple?
Kind regards,

Heads up,
I got the machine parts back from the painter today. I am a little disappointed since the paint did not turn out flat as expected. In fact its glossy
It looks nice but I was expecting flat black. I will press on building the machine up from the parts tomorrow. I have a 4-day weekend since my commander called a down-day for Friday (no flying). I should be able to test it with film by Sunday if all goes well, so cross your fingers. Overall I am happy with the way it's turning out.
