Having to part with my lovely Anamorphic lens.

Yup, it really is very sad that you've had to sacrafice your anamorphic lens for your project. You may wish you hadn't sold it and later you might find you didn't have to. Couldn't you sell something else, your mother? (would she mind?).
And what a lovely picture size you've got on your screen, just like mine. I know I'd miss being able to view my favourite films 11ft wide in my living room. Ah well!

Well sadly my Mother is no longer alive, however I do have another one of these lenses, keeping two was a luxury, so I will still be projecting my films in widescreen.
