You mean this one - http://www.8mm.filmshooting.com/scripts ... aah?full=1

It looks very cool. I've never seen one of these before. I checked eBay and found nothing.

I spent a long time trying to find one like that- but never could. So I was going to build my own, but then I decided to just edit on video. I would still love to have one of those though! I suppose you could try to make one by yourself if you wanted.

what does something like that cost? i have one of these little guys here http://www.8mm.filmshooting.com/scripts ... iewers/aaa , got it for $6 and works good.. and use a simple splice machine to cut and tape.. it does a perfect job. i personally have been having a ball editing my new films with this stuff.

What kind of splicer do you have? I had a cement one that worked great and then broke after only a week. I want to get a new one to play with.

you don't need any special tape.. i got some new regular splice tape from ebay i'm using and sticks good.. they sell it in stores but i'm not sure where yet. the old splice tape that came with the splicer has lost its adhesiveness, but the new tape does a perfect job.

i would bid on it myself if it weren't for the fact that they won't ship outside the US.
