tranfer of widescreen film to video

I want to transfer some footage shot with my Kowa PA35 1.75x ratio lens, can this be done, keeping everything in proper perspective ? Who would be able to do this, and what would be the cost?

If you plan on editing on a computer and your NLE software supports some sort of scaling/stretching or something specifically for doing this then you should simply be able to use any video transfer service and then uncompress the image yourself. I don't know of any that will do it for you, super8sound might do it for 16:9 since they sell those lenses, and could possibly for other aspect ratios, I dont know though.

Do you want to get PAL-version transfer?

If so, I think I'd do that.

What is your aspect ratio?

According Konton's web pages (http://www.super8mm.org/arsenal.html) you probably had shot with aspect ratio 2.35:1. Do you want put that material in 4:3 or 16:9 frame?

I can do the both, I haven't done yet any "real transfer", just some tests for this kind on material, but I'd try it and at very cheap price:

Anyway I can offer you basic widescreen transfer at price 3 Euro/minute.
