Does anybody know of 8mm resources here in Calgary?
Hi,
The Local Lab ( http://members.shaw.ca/locallab/ ) does ektachrome proccessing and B&W reversal...its very cheap. I live in vancouver and i ship my film to calgary because the place here in Van costs 10 bucks more...(someone told me that they actually just ship their stuff to calgary at the local lab hehe).
Anyways, good luck!

not sure if this helps...
Hey there,
not sure if this helps but it is worth checking out...When I used to go to Calgary on business I used to walk the streets checking out the neat photos stores after meetings when I had the time. I recall I was near the Husky Tower (I think the rail line is near that end - something like 5th st and 5th ave if that is possible - I am guessing.)
Anyhow, it was a shop that seemed to be below street level. On the north side (i recall walking east and it was on my left). I think you walked down the steps and then made a right into another door that was his shop.
The guy carried lots and lots of used cameras (I think I found him by searching hte yellow pages). Turns out he was a HUGE super 8 nut and went on and on about how he was shooting/showing a star wars like presentation on two screens, etc. I remember at that time thinking that my Sankyo LXL255Macro was the ONLY camera ever made in super 8, but he told me and had examples of all sorts of other makes I never new existed. Blame it on him for my first SUPPORTED interest in super 8 (other than my Dad).
Anyhow, he had lots of displays of various zeiss cameras (35mm still) and the like.
Just my memories from 1992. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Michael
PS - I told this story to someone else and they found the place but I foget the details (like if it still exists).

$25 at Action Films but the turn around is too quick to be sent to Calgary.
Also I think London Drugs processing for about $15 a roll.
