I'm planning to shoot an interior with K40 (85 filter out) at a mixture of 18 and 24 fps. I got some quite nice results with a stage lamp at 18 fps but want to shoot some 24fps which will need more light.
If I use a couple of 500w halogen floodlights (not made for film) as key and fill, will this suffice to light my subjects (the background can be fairly dark)? I'll probably need to bounce the floods off something white or put the key through a diffuser reflector and will probably lose a stop this way.
Also do I need to open up an extra stop (AFTER getting my light meter reading)to compensate for the 24fps?
Any help would be much appreciated

Another lighting question - advice appreciated

The change to 24fps should be reflected by a change in the effective shutter speed. This change will modify the recommended stop shown on your meter.
You can find more info on recent threads here about calculating the shutter speed, although they're often listed in the manual for a given camera. Its a function of the shutter angle and film speed. The formula was recently posted in another thread...
