excuse me, where did you find a scanner that does 9600dpi?.. sounds a bit like interpolated data which would be rather useless.. in fact, anything over 4000dpi is pretty much useless anyway, except if you're studying atomic grid structures ;)

Just wanted to share for anyone who wasn't aware - "The Ring" - the US film is a remake of an excellent Japanese film called "Ringu". There is a Japanese sequel, Ring II, and a prequel - Ring 0. There is also a korean remake of the movie (which I haven't seen), can't remember the name, something like Ringa or Ringo.

I personally think the original Japanese "Ringu" is the best.
