Per S. Larsen (the guy who made the short film Rendezvous) and I are going to London in the beginning of November.
We would like to have an evening with the Shooting 8mm members living in/around London at a pub/place where we can sit down, talk and maybe have some food/drinks.
Anyone up? I bet we'll have lots to talk about!

I'd suggest meeting on 5th November: it's the penultimate day of the London Film Festival (including finale of the TCM Short Film Competition, screening of Takeshi Kitano's Zatoichi and Peter Mullan interview), it's bonfire night (see above) and it's the only night I can get to London!
The only Sonic Youth fan who lives in England and is into Super-8 that I know is called Laurie. If it aint you then this is going to seem cryptic, but hey! Its your spello.
He is a London based video artist who uses super-8 for animation . Has shown at the ICA and several european venues.
We were at art school together. I thought the match was good enough to be worth a try but I was "a bit previous" as they say in London!!
