FADE IN/FADE OUT OF SUPERIMPOSED TITLES ON PREMIERE.
Just started using Premiere 6.0 for my video-editing, and have a small problem. Unfortunately I don't have a manual for the program, and I can't find anything in the "HELP" menu of the program either. My problem is: How do I fade in/fade out titles when they are superimposed on the video???? Vide is on track "Video 1A" and "Video 1B", and the titles are on the "Video 2" track. I can make the titles just "come on" and "come off", but don't know how to fade them in and out. CAN ANYONE HELP?????

(this is for the mac version, and from memory)kjellpell wrote:How do I fade in/fade out titles when they are superimposed on the video????
expand the opacity rubber band by clicking the little arrow under the text "video 2", then just click and drag to insert and adjust your opacity keyframes.

Guide
Just f.y.i., a third-party "how to" guide for Premiere 6.0 is available for $19 (incl. free shipping)...

Title superimposing
Do not know if this is similar to the methods described above but these samples are from my old MAC 4.0 version.
It will look like this:

Big pic:
ftp://ftp.filmshooting.com/upload/pictures/title2a.jpg
Copy the title into the superimpose "S" track.
Drag it in one or both ends to extend it to cover as long as you want.
Mark the title clip and select transparancy from the "clip" meny

Big pic here:

Here I can not remember the best way to make the background transparent but just try some of them and you´ll find out.
Drag the "line" underneath the clip to adjust the level of superimposing/fade in / fade out on to the "A" clip.
