Note that regulations on selling lab chemicals to ordinary mortals have been strengthened due to fears of terrorism and acid attacks (misnomer as most are alkali attacks....) Depending on your location you might now find it very difficult to obtain even battery acid, and potassium dichromate is probably not available anywhere in Europe now unless you are an educational or industrial laboratory.
