Marc
Both sharpness & low light ability.
I may be a bit biased in my experience, since I ran arond 400 rolls through the R-10, and just a few through the Canon 1014XL-S and Nizo 801.

So I've seen the R-10 perform under every lighting situation you can think of, from "in the red" to f16, and it's always had great sharpness, contrast, & low light ability.

Best Super 8 camera; Elmo 110r

Best car; Volkswagen Beetle [specifically the 1956 model built between August 1955 and July 1956].

But that's just my opinion

Super 8mm camera observation

Post by Daniel »

Hello,

Regarding to Lens Quality in the Built-In Lens Super 8mm Camera category, the Voigtlander-Zeiss Ikon Moviflex MS-8 camera is a fantastic camera. This camera have a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar f 1.9 9/36mm lens. Very pristine image, with true colour and high resolution.

Regarding to other characteristics, I have seen the Beaulieu 7008 Pro II camera, and I think it is an incredible camera, because it have crystal sync for the following frame rate : 24 fps, 25 fps, 29.97 fps and 30 fps.

Best Regards,

Daniel
