I need a lens hood for Nizo 6080 (Schneider lens 56mm in diameter?)
Can't find that particular size anywhere on Ebay.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Get one from your local camera store, they do all sorts of rubber screw on ones. I have one, didn't cost much.
If you want to push the boat out, you can get a matte box for the 4080/6080 series which are quite good.
I went for a more expensive matte box from Optex in the UK, made from sturdy stuff, with a french flag. It also has two slots for square filters, such as some of the 3" tiffen range, with one rotatable through 360 degrees. Certainly the best option, but not the most cost effective.

56mm? You are not going to find this size. The Nizo 6080 I have has a front thread diameter of 67mm ( Series 8 ). The lens is Schneider Macro-Variogon 1.4/7-80maksim wrote:I need a lens hood for Nizo 6080 (Schneider lens 56mm in diameter?)

Do you have some other lens with this god forsaken 56mm size?!? If it really is 56mm it is better to force it into 55mm by using a 55mm Skylight or UV filter on the lens.
OR
get a Tiffen Code # 708 adapter which is a 56mm (x0.75 standard pitch) Series 7 adapter (Series 7 is 54mm).
Then you can easily get a 55mm or a Series 7 lens hood and filters etc....
Avoid the 56mm at any cost.

Oopss!
Sorry guys, my mistake. The diameter is 67mm, and not 56mm like I thought 4 some reason. My fault.
Obviously, Ebay is full of those.
Thanks anyway.
